can guy's use BB cream? or what BB cream if any are there suitable for men's skin.?

Thursday, August 26th, 2010

There’s this BB cream manufactured in Korea and i recently heard about it. I was just wondering if that is suitable for guys as well. If not, is there something for guys as well? I don’t know my skin ID either. I am fair skin I guess. Not too dark and not too light. Im using Nivea for Men moisturizer and i am content with it. Just out of curiosity to keep my options open.

Quick & easy skin care for men (and women)

Tuesday, August 10th, 2010

Most skin care routine videos will tell you to do a 3-step (Cleanse, Tone, Moisturizer) routine and then exfoliate occasionally once or twice a week. They also pretty much all use the same products and say the same things which make me think these people don’t know what they are talking about and just repeat what they are told. It’s really unnecessary to spend lots of money on lots of products. I developed terrible acne at about 13 and spent until I was 20 fighting it, using every product under the sun, professional treatments like microdermabrasion and peels, doctor medication all the way up to the strongest drugs (like Accutane which causes brittle bone disease, liver problems etc.), natural miracle remedies (which are complete bullshit), home remedies, everything. This is also why I know a lot about makeup because I wanted to try and make my skin look like everyone else’s. What I’ve found is companies just want to make money out of you pretty much. You don’t need a 4step routine, you need a 2step with the right products, you need consistency with it, a healthy diet (look into the macrobiotic diet), light exercise and time outside in fresh air and sunshine. Your skin will look amazing and you will feel amazing. Simple! Wish someone had told me this years ago and saved me thousands of £’s and years of my life.

Skin help? Spots, dryness, etc.. the works.?

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

So I’m a (straight) 17 year old guy. I like to take care of how I look, as gay as it sounds, but now I’m getting problems.

Well, I’ve never been too bad with spots and I didn’t have overly sensitive skin, especially since I started using clearasil and Nivea mens moisturizer about a year ago. But since about boxing day I’ve been constantly breaking out, don’t just say this is puberty, I’ve been through most if not all stages and spot are mostly long gone.

I have started using a stronger face scrub in the past week and got these two huge spots. Then after a few days of using it, it actually stung my face (which has never happened), i thought there might have been hair bleach (my mum) that had not been washed away in the sink. So for the past two days I’ve had spotty, dry skin. It’s starting to get really visible and the skin is literally falling off.

I been washing my face gently now and plastering the moisturizer on which only helps for a few hours… any advice?

For the record, I don’t ever get this many spots (5 or 6 at the minute) and I don’t have a history of dry skin. Can you give me any advice? Many thanks. :)

Jergens Natural Glow Daily Facial Moisturizer product review on Mens Skin Care with Ross

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

Jergens Natural Glow Healthy Complexion Daily Facial Moisturizer is reviewed in this video. I found that this gradual self-tanner builds a very natural looking tan. The lotion itself is oil-free and white in color. It goes on very smooth and does a good job moisturizing; it also has SPF 20 so I don’t need to apply additional products after using this one. I did find that by midday my skin was a little greasier than it would normally have been, but I remedy this by blotting with TP. Gradual tanners are great to help reduce the possibility of streaking and also allow the user to customize the depth of color. Feel free to comment with any questions, I’ll respond!! Thanks for watching guys!

What's the best way to take care of your skin if you are a guy?

Sunday, June 20th, 2010

Hey guys

Lately i’ve been using a mens moisturizer.. usually after showering or shaving.. but every time I use it i usually get a small acne breakout a couple days later which is a pain. My skin is usually very good, and this only happens when i use the moisturizer. I tried a less oil based one but same result. Anyone else have this happen? Ideas?

Looking for a good skin care line of products. I'm over 40.?

Sunday, June 20th, 2010

Can anyone recommend a good skin care line, wash/toner/moisturizer, etc that is readily available to purchase at a drugstore. I really don’t think there is any difference between what is offered for men versus women…so any recommendation is fine as long as they are sent free.

I will pick a best answer.
